Our High-Capacity Thermostatic Expansion Valves are engineered to regulate theprecise injection of refrigerant liquid into evaporators, ensuring optimal performance. Theinjection is meticulously controlled by the refrigerant superheat.
These valves are exceptionally suitable formanaging liquid injection in 'dry' evaporators, where the superheat at the evaporator outlet is directly proportional to the evaporator load, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Introducing the advanced TE 2 version for CO2. This innovative solution pairs a manual TXV with a streamlined case controller, offering a unique opportunity to build a CO2 system with a lower initial investment while providing constant temperature data logging.

To support capacities down to 1 kW / 0.3 TR R744, four new orifices (CZ, CY, CX, and C0) have been designed. These orifices will be used alongside existing ones to offer greater flexibility and precision.

Thermostatic expansion valves are engineered to maintain a precise and constant superheat level at the evaporator outlet. These sophisticated devices regulate the amount of refrigerant injected into the evaporator, meticulously considering both evaporator load and ambient temperatures. This ensures optimal system efficiency and robust protection.
systems by preventing liquid refrigerant from entering the suction line, thereby averting potential compressor damage. Notably, when compared to systems utilizing capillary tubes, thermostatic expansion valves deliver substantial energy savings and enhanced performance.

TE 2 valves for CO2 applications are designed exclusively for subcritical systems and will not feature internal pressure equalization. These versions have been robustly upgraded to withstand an MWP of 90 bar.

TE2 valves boast an interchangeable orifice assembly, compatible with all versions of the valve body, refrigerants, and across all evaporating temperature ranges. Crafted from a specialized alloy, the valve cone and seat are designed for exceptional wear resistance, ensuring long-term reliability.

The thermostatic element charge is precisely matched to the refrigerant and evaporating temperature range, as indicated by laser engraving on the valve top.

The bulb provides rapid and accurate response to temperature variations in the evaporator. It is securely mounted using a patented bulb strap, ensuring efficient thermal contact with the suction tube for quick, easy, and reliable installation.
