The refrigerant gas, laden with oil in aerosol form, exits the compressor and makes its way into the oil separator. Within the separator, the oil is effectively intercepted as it passes through the intricate design of the inlet and outlet metal webs, as well as the separator's shell wall. During this journey, oil particles collide and combine, forming larger, heavier particles that eventually descend and collide with the separator walls. This process culminates in the oil particles being isolated and collected at the bottom of the separator. Here, a precision float-operated needle valve efficiently returns the oil to the crankcase or oil reservoir, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
